2016 BACK SEAT BUCKERS ALL IN PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP KICKS OFF SEASON IN LAS VEGAS

Top 5 Advance to Buck at BFTS in OKC

PUEBLO, Colo. (December 14, 2015)-The 2016 season of the Back Seat Buckers (BSB) ALL IN Player’s Championship kicked off with three events over the past eight days at the Horseman’s Park Arena in Las Vegas. Five bulls gave their owners the “thrill of a lifetime” by qualifying to compete in the PBR’s Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) event on January 22 in Oklahoma City.

The top-ranked bull after the first  three events was Coachella Monster (career earnings: $11,250), with 174.55 points in two qualifying bucks.  Owned by Bioko Buckers, Coachella Monster improved each competition.  After posting a non-qualifying 83 points on December 4, the bull recorded a score of 85.75 on December 8, and won the third competition with 88.8 points.

Joining him on bull riding’s biggest stage on Oklahoma City will be:

¨ Satisfaction Guaranteed (owned by Bob Whisnant; 8th pick in BSB ALL IN draft; $4,387.50 career earnings)

¨ Doc Holliday (owned by McKenzie/Novak/Reimer/Whisnant; 5th pick in BSB ALL IN draft; $106,975 career earnings)

¨ Tap Out (owned by Don McKenzie; 1st pick in BSB ALL IN supplemental draft; $1,650 career earnings)

¨ Mr. Allen (owned by Elite Buckin Bulls; 7th pick in BSB ALL IN draft; $12,525 career earning)

Each of these bulls will buck during the PBR Built Ford Tough Series on January 22, in front of a what is traditionally a sold-out crowd at Chesapeake Energy Arena. All five bulls will earn a check in addition to the prestige of competing in the same chutes as the rankest bulls in the world.

The 2016 regular season of the BSB ALL IN Player’s Championship features nine qualifying events, with each group of three leading to a different BFTS stop. Events 4-6 will qualify bulls for Kansas City, Missouri and events 7-9 will take bulls to Phoenix.

In order for a bull to earn points in the standings, he must receive a score of more than 84 points.  If he does, that score will equal the number of points applied to the standings.  After each set of three events, the bulls with the five-highest cumulative scores will advance to the bright lights and roaring crowds of the PBR’s prestigious BFTS.
