Dear Breeders,
Please Note - All registration requests must be sent in on 2010 registration forms and applications. Please also be aware of the required signature on the 2010 application for registration.
The Registry continues to grow and change. Please take a moment to make sure that you are aware of the services that are available to you as a breeder. These services are designed to help improve the value of your cattle and also protect your current or potential investment. The services that ABBI offers to you as a breeder are listed below.
A.) Registration Papers - Information on registration papers regarding the lineage of animals are accurate when the paper was printed. However, we only check for sires and dams that you indicate to us on your registration paperwork. The entire registry is NOT checked. New information is found everyday that can change the lineage on several different animals. With this in mind, it is a benefit to you as a breeder to take advantage of one of the services listed below to make sure you have the most current information regarding your animal before you sell or buy.
B.) Service – Online Inventory (Free) – Your inventory is made available to you on www.americanbuckingbull.com under the Registration section for free. You may log into your inventory at anytime and check and see if a new sire or dam may have been added to your animal or if the status of an animal has changed. This inventory is updated on a weekly basis.
C.) Service – Production Record ($10) – You may obtain a production record for any registered animal in the registry at anytime from the ABBI. This record will list all the currently registered animals to the requested animal. This information is as current as the day it was printed. Changes are made daily so this record may change at anytime and a new one would have to be requested and paid for.
D.) Service – Additional DNA Research ($10) – If an animal is missing a sire and or dam and you wish to run a potential parent against that animal you may submit an additional DNA Research form with payment and test potential parents to the requested animal. You may request additional research on any registered animal with the required payment.
E.) Service – Breeder Services – At anytime you may phone the office and ask if any new parent or offspring information has been found about any animal. We would be glad to assist you.
As a breeder of ABBI it is to your advantage to use the above services so that you maintain the highest value for your cattle and you will be able to make smart investments and purchases. Through the use of the services available through your ABBI breeder account and through everyone’s continued support and cooperation the registry will continue to improve and the information contained within it will be more complete and will help further the industry and the value of your cattle.
